The Murray Irrigators Farming Support Group Is an information and technology based farming support group for the southern Murray Darling basin. Formed in 2008 to help bridge the gap and create productive partnerships between the farming community, industry, government and non-government organisations.

Murray Irrigators presented their submission into the impact of the proposed Murray-Darling Basin Plan on regional communities to the federal parliamentary inquiry, headed by independent MP Tony Windsor.

Murray Irrigators has made a submission on the socio-economic impact of proposed Murray Darling Basin Authority’s Guide to the Proposed Basin Plan on regional communities.

Murray Irrigators hosted a forum on Adapting Farming Practices to Climate Change and gave evidence to the inquiry into Australian Farmers and Climate Change by the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Primary Industries and Resources at a public hearing in Melbourne on the 3rd of September 2009..

Murray Irrigators hosts field days to showcase results farmers are having with innovative techniques to irrigation and crop production.

Murray Irrigators sponsors the Water Technology Cluster Irrigation Expo's 2010, 2011 & 2012. "showcasing irrigation innovation"
