Water Technology Cluster Irrigation Expo 2012 Shepparton Showgrounds May 16 & 17th.

The WTC Expo 2012 focus's on the government's "On Farm Water Efficiency Program" Rounds 1, 2 and the upcoming round 3 as well as NVIRP Modernisation.
The Water Technology Cluster is hosting its third Annual Irrigation Expo in Shepparton on May 16 and 17 - 10 to 4pm daily entry Free. The committee would extend a warm welcome to farmers attending this year’s unique irrigation focused expo, you will experience everything the industry has to offer in irrigation technology under one big roof at the multipurpose pavilion at the Shepparton Showground’s.
Farmers from across the region and beyond will come together to see the best in water technology and learn how they can apply the new innovations to improve productivity in their dairy, beef, horticulture and grain enterprises.
Farmers bring your farm plans to take advantage of specialist advice on irrigation efficiency programs and the right systems for your needs.
The WTC 2012 Irrigation Expo will facilitate a diverse program of demonstrations and industry speakers presenting farm case studies which examine economic considerations of irrigation upgrades in light of the increased interest in these systems with the Farm Water Program and Modernisation upgrades here in Northern Victoria.
There will also be an update on the On-Farm Irrigation Efficiency Program from round one and two and the upcoming round three.

THE WTC EXPO COMMITTEE hosted the 2nd Annual WTC Irrigation Expo in Echuca.
1,250 families came through the gates over the two days. The Expo provided education about modernising on-farm irrigation infrastructure for water savings....

A total of 1250 farming familys came through the gates over the two days of expo, some with farm plan's in hand to take advantage of round two of the On Farm Efficiency Program.

Exhibitors expressed that expo provided them with an opportunity to showcase their products and, more importantly, to interact with their customers in an informal, hands-on environment.
Farmers and their families we were able to put faces too many of the business owners they had spoken to on the phone over the years but hadn’t met before and there were plenty of seats and tables to sit and catch up with friends at expo while the young children took a break in the play area.
Farmers found the expo well worth attending and said they were definitely looking forward to being back there again next year. See you at the 2012 WTC Irrigation Expo 16th and 17th May 2012.
The venue Echuca Racecourse Echuca is central to the Murray Darling Basin Irrigation Areas and provided a magnificent venue in 2010 and 2011, entry is free with gates opening from 10am - 4pm daily.
